This program, established by the Johns Hopkins Center for a Livable Future (CLF), supports early-to-mid-career journalists reporting on issues at the intersection of public health and food systems. 

High school juniors with an interest in journalism can apply to attend Freedom Forum's annual event, all expenses paid plus a $1,000 scholarship to the college of their choice. The 2026 conference takes place Jun 21-26 in Washington, DC. Apply by Mar 25.

The bi-yearly McGraw Fellowship provides experienced journalists with funds up to $15,000 and editorial support needed to report in-depth stories with a strong economic, financial or business angle.
